About the Mayo Arthroplasty Conference
Now in its 19th year, the Mayo Arthroplasty Conference has grown to become the largest specialist joint-replacement meeting in Ireland. Renowned for its concise didactic lectures, lively debates on current controversies, and engaging complex-case discussions, the conference delivers a comprehensive knowledge base for practising arthroplasty surgeons—all within a single weekend.
Each year, the program rotates its focus between Primary Hip Replacement, Primary Knee Replacement, and Revision Hip & Knee Replacement. This year’s theme is Primary Hip Replacement, with an emphasis on the latest technological advances and evolving clinical practice.
The conference is designed for specialist hip and knee arthroplasty surgeons, general orthopaedic surgeons involved in joint replacement, and senior trainees pursuing a career in arthroplasty.
