Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon to University Hospital Waterford and Kilcreene Regional Orthopaedic Hospital

Graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 1976. Obtained FRCSI in 1980. Conferred MD with honours in 1985.  Winner Robert Jones Medal and British Orthopaedic Association prize in 1990. Appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, RVH Belfast in 1989 becoming Trauma Director at the Royal in 1992. Joined the South East Orthopaedic Service in 1999. Currently Clinical Lead for Orthopaedics, UHW and Kilcreene Regional Orthopaedic Hospital.

Specialist interests include Orthopaedic Trauma, Lower Limb Arthroplasty, Soft tissue knee surgery and Spine surgery
