Mr Ian Kelly is an orthopaedic surgeon based in Whitfield Clinic in Waterford. Originally from Ballinasloe in Co. Galway, he graduated from University College Dublin in 1990 and did his fellowship training in Duke University, North Carolina, USA where he majored in Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery and Foot and Ankle Surgery. Before moving to Whitfield Clinic in 2012, he spent 12 years in the Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery Department in University Hospital Waterford. In all, he have over 20 years’ experience in orthopaedic surgery with a special interest in hip and knee replacement surgery and diseases of the foot and ankle.
